Dear ACEL SA Members,
It's evident that ACEL SA has once again had another exciting year. We're thrilled to have hosted several well-attended ‘Hot Topics’, featuring presenters who generously shared their insights. Some highlights from our events included:
- A thought-provoking conversation between Deborah Netolicky and Summer Howarth exploring future alternatives for educational leadership.
- Bec Clements and Grant Small presenting on leading school improvement and fostering culture change in primary schools.
- Dr. Brendan Bentley and Conor Keneally shedding light on cognitive load theory and augmented reality in a science classroom.
As we look ahead, we invite you to mark your calendars for our upcoming book club meeting on January 18 at the Walkers Arms Hotel from 12 midday to 2 pm. Further details can be found here.
Additionally, we're excited to announce that early next year, we will be hosting an ACEL SA Member’s Night. This will be a great opportunity to network with leaders across the education sector. Stay tuned for the date and venue.
I wish you all the best for a relaxing and restful Christmas break.
Kind regards,
Martyn Anderson
ACEL SA Branch President
