Middle Leadership standards – online survey. Have your say.

As a professional association ACEL has been very active in supporting middle leadership. The Queensland Department of Education has partnered with the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) in an exciting project to develop and trial professional standards for middle leaders. We remind our members that there is opportunity to help shape middle leadership in Australian schools. Your perspective will help inform and shape the draft standards and how they relate to the work of middle leaders.

Have your say on the draft Professional standards for middle leaders via the national validation survey from 17 July to 4 August. Visit www.aitsl.edu.au/middleleaders.

Time for reflection

The Queensland Branch Executive members continue to offer members our regular Time for Reflection pieces. This term we thank Bruce Addison for his thoughtful reflections. Now with ACEL community blogs the readership is extended to other states. We encourage you to engage with this community further and contribute your insights.

Please stay in contact with ACELQ through branch.qld@acel.org.au
