Our Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) is a dynamic and collaborative learning community. We are one where educators come together to share ideas and work towards our commitment to improve the quality of learning for all. We are members of a profession that extends to us the opportunity and privilege to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
This week the Australian Council for Educational Leaders open our call for 2025 National and Branch award nominations, perhaps best considered as recognition of the profession by the profession.
We look to recognising educational leaders who, in the view of their colleagues, have made a significant contribution to the understanding and practices of the teaching profession and educational leadership. Those who have nurtured and developed the lives of students and enriched the profession by learning with colleagues and contributing to their educational leadership. Along with our National and Branch awards, also called, are nominations for our New Voice Scholarships that are part of ACEL’s significant commitment to recognise the emerging voices in educational leadership.
Each year, our award recipients are truly representative of the diversity of our profession, they represent the breadth, depth and diversity of all sectors. from the state systems, Catholic and independent schools, professional associations, university teacher education faculties and supporting organisations.
The uniqueness of ACEL is our connectedness with all in the education community. With a focus on learning and leadership at our core, please join with us in considering and nominating colleagues for recognition, for their, your actions are those of influence, motivation and enabling others to contribute to the continuing success of our education community in Australia.
